Stanwix Park, recently voted the AA’s Holiday Centre of the Year, has plenty of attractions for all ages.

Indeed, the coastal stretch is a recognised Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, from Rockliffe in the north to Maryport in the south.

The small Victorian town of Silloth, backed by the Lake District hills, sits in the middle and is a popular holiday destination, thanks to its peaceful atmosphere and seaside activities.

It is also home to Stanwix Park, which was recently awarded the coveted title of AA Holiday Centre of the Year – and the good news is that it is currently offering Easter breaks for three or four nights in self-catering accommodation from just £359.

Stanwix Park has a variety of pet-friendly apartments that sleep between four and six, and caravans that can accommodate up to eight.

The offer includes unlimited use of the attraction’s recently refurbished leisure centre, which features a slide, water jets and waterfall. Also, for those seeking something more relaxing, there is a new sauna, steam room, jacuzzi, and heated loungers.

Children can enjoy a range of daytime activities, including Foxy Fox’s brand-new panto for Easter, laser tag, soft archery, a circus school, Brad’s animal encounter, and more, all included in your total holiday cost.

JJ’s Bowl is a ten-pin bowling experience that combines the latest technology with exciting interactive graphics and animations. It has a soft play area for those under-six, as well as a snooker room for older guests.

In the evening, the whole family can enjoy entertainment with Foxy Fox and the fantastic team while enjoying music, dancing, magic shows, guest acts, and new all-singing, all-dancing shows for 2024 in the Sunset Inn.

The family-run centre has been popular among holiday makers since the 1940s and prides itself on great service and top-quality facilities.

“One guest recently said upon check-in,‘We are home,’” reports Sophie Leslie, the park’s advertising manager. “That is what makes us different from everywhere else. We are a small, family-run park and that just shows right the way through in everything we do, from the friendly service to the relaxed vibe.”

Also available to book now are Stanwix Park’s camping pods, which can sleep up to four guests.

These include a private veranda, plug sockets, electric heaters, and the free use of a barbecue area.

The park also offers fully serviced pitches for tents, touring caravans and motorhomes.
