Gabby Logan on board at media group Perform

TELEVISION presenter Gabby Logan has joined the board of stock market-listed sports media group Perform Group as a non-executive director.

The FTSE 250 company specialises in distributing content such as football highlights packages around the world and also owns sports websites.

Chairman Paul Walker, chairman of Perform, said Logan’s “in-depth understanding and insight into the worlds of sport and broadcasting will complement the board’s existing expertise and experience”.

While the company did not say how much Logan will receive in fees for the role, other non-executives on Perform’s board received a minimum of £39,000 last year.

Logan, who is married to former Scottish rugby star Kenny and is the daughter of former Wales football manager Terry Yorath, has worked for broadcasters including Sky Sports, the BBC, ITV and 
Channel 5 covering major 
sporting events around the world.

Her current commitments include Match of the Day, Final Score and Six Nations Rugby.
