Andrew Elder, lead healthcare partner at London-based Albion Ventures, told The Scotsman that the string of deals is expected to be completed within the next six months.
Elder said: “I’m keen to invest in Scotland. We think there are great opportunities.

“We expect to make several more investments, both healthcare and renewable-energy related, over the next six months.”
Albion Ventures has already pumped cash into Livingston-based healthcare device maker Dysis Medical and TEG’s biogas plant in Perth.
Elder’s comments came ahead of his appearance later this month at a funding event organised by BioCity Scotland, the life sciences incubator centre launched last year in the former Merck drug factory at Newhouse, in Lanarkshire.
Other speakers at the event will include Jock Millican, chairman of business angel trade body Linc Scotland, and Glenn Crocker, chief executive of BioCity, which also runs an incubator centre in Nottingham.
David Lightbody from Biogelx and Alastair Atkinson of Dysis will provide case studies.
