'Greatest thing I'll ever see' Steve Clarke's son hails hero father's Euro 2020 achievement
As the nation cheered, the manager’s boy paid tribute to his dad’s achievement in ending a 23-year wait and taking Scotland back to a major men’s tournament for the first time since France 98 and the first European Championships for what will be 25 years when next summer’s football fiesta comes around.
Taking to Twitter to spell out his pride in his father, John Clarke wrote: “My dad is my hero. Watching my hero take Scotland to an international competition is the greatest thing I'll ever see.”

Scotland drew 1-1 in 90 minutes after Ryan Christie’s second half goal was equalised by a last-minute Luka Jovic header. The match went to penalties but David Marshall saved the final kick for a 5-4 win.
