Fred Evans and Andrew Selby pulled off a historic golden double for Wales in the European Amateur Boxing Championships in Ankara, stepping up their respective bids for glory at London 2012.
Selby powered to a superb 13-10 flyweight win over three-time former champion Georgy Balakshin of Russia, and then the 20-year-old Evans defeated Mamamed Nurudzinau of Belarus 15-9 for the welterweight title.
