Third Division: Ian Harty makes Peterhead suffer again to take Annan top

ANNAN Athletic sit at the top of the Third Division after Ian Harty's penalty earned the Galabank men a 3-2 success at Balmoor and a second win over John Sheran's Peterhead side in four days.

Harty will probably be the most unpopular person in Peterhead, for as all well as Saturday's winner he hit a hat-trick is his side's 4-2 win in the Ramsdens Cup in midweek.

Bryan Deasley put Peterhead in front early after a mistake by visiting goalkeeper Craig Summersgill, however Jordan McKechnie quickly restored parity. Rory McAllister had the hosts leading again before half time however McKechnie squared things a second time before Harty won the game from 12 yards out after a Roy McBain foul on Steven Sloan.
