Sweden hit back to defeat Scots U17s

SCOTLAND'S under-17 side went down in their opening game in the Nordic Cup in Vassa, Finland last night as Sweden came from behind to a goal from Celtic's Islam Feruz to win 2-1.

The Scots had opened the scoring on 48 minutes when Kilmarnock's Matthew Kennedy was upended in the box and Feruz slotted the ball home from 12 yards, but it proved a false dawn.
