Hockey: Stars' Common aim

Scotland's senior hockey men are travelling to Austria almost fully tuned as the countdown to the Commonwealth Games in Delhi hots up.

The squad travel with confidence high after four straight victories over America, ranked 21st in the world.

Austria are 20th, three places ahead of Scotland and the squad's Edinburgh-based manager Eugene Connolly said: "We sat down after the Five Nations in France and decided that, in our seven remaining competitive games before Delhi, we wanted to win seven out of seven. We've now won four out of four. Winning becomes a bit of a habit and we want to go to Delhi on a high."
