Steve McKenzie, Bellevue: "I am delighted to see the club get Alan Gow in for the rest of the season. He will provide another attacking option. Also, I keep saying it, but it is vital that the club get Ian Murray on a new contract. He has easily been the best player at the club in the past two years."

Keith Smith, Piershill: "We now have plenty competition for the gloves which is always good and now Gow is here he can play left attacking midfield which can hopefully give Deeks a chance to go through the middle with Stokesy. We have quality, attacking players in abundance which is great for the club."

Leon Cochrane: "I would like to congratulate Yogi and the board. I didn't think Rod Petrie would allow any signings and I half expected the sale of a player. Two good keepers and an attacking midfielder, let's hope we can kick on."
