EDINBURGH CITY have pulled off a major signing coup by attracting Bonnyrigg Rose striker Andy Howat to Meadowbank Stadium. Howat goes immediately into their squad although Scott McFarlane is injured and Michael Bruce suspended. COLDSTREAM, if they do not win, will almost certainly be relegated.

HERIOT-WATT UNIVERSITY will be without the suspended Matt Travis, the unavailable Lars Berger and the injured Ryan Wilkie, although Ally Duff has recovered from a virus for the visit of SELKIRK, who have Grant Gass suspended and Ross McManus unavailable.

TYNECASTLE have Mark Cherrie suspended and he'll be their only absentee when they meet EDINBURGH UNIVERSITY, who have midfielder Kerr Dodds suspended.

FIRST DIVISION

LEITH ATHLETIC manager Eugene Taylor returns to the action, along with Greg Irvine after suspension. Kevin Freedman, Andy Milligan and Euan Campbell all fall into the injured category. Basement club HAWICK ROYAL ALBERT report no problems.

PEEBLES are without Glen Harley and Eoin Anderson but hope to have new faces Kevin Barr and Daryl Johnson in their squad. CRAIGROYSTON have Michael Olsson injured and both Kyle Hay and Stephen Sproule suspended while boss Jamie Burrell is hopeful of including a trialist striker.

VALE OF LEITHEN will be without captain John Hall, Steve Dongo and Geri Rossi as they entertain a full-strength EASTHOUSES LILY.

In the Borders, KELSO UNITED have Steven Tait suspended for the visit of EYEMOUTH UNITED, who have goalkeeping problems, while ORMISTON, with no problems, await GALA FAIRYDEAN, who conceded five goals to Leith Athletic in midweek.
