McCourt eyes three points

Celtic winger Paddy McCourt is relishing taking on Hibernian in the Clydesdale Bank Premier League tomorrow at the end of a difficult week which saw him sent bullets in the post.

Strathclyde Police are carrying out an investigation after a package containing bullets and addressed to McCourt at Celtic Park was discovered by Royal Mail workers in the east end of Glasgow on Tuesday.

Bullets sent to Niall McGinn and Celtic boss Neil Lennon last week were detected by postal workers in Mallusk, County Antrim. All three packages were posted in Northern Ireland.

Asked if the events of this week had impacted on him, McCourt replied: "No, not at all."

On the game itself, McCourt added: "Hibs are under-achieving. They've got a good squad of players and I don't think anyone can put their finger on why they're so low in the league.

"But we'll be doing our utmost to put things right for ourselves on Saturday and pick up three points."
