Hearts winger Jamie Walker has been offered a two-match suspension by the Scottish Football Association for an 'act of simulation' during Sunday's 2-1 defeat by Celtic at Tynecastle.

Walker won a penalty – which he himself scored – in the first half after going down under a challenge by Hoops player Kieran Tierney. The incident led to Celtic skipper Scott Brown describing Walker as a “cheat”.

The Tynecastle club will challenge the ban at a hearing on Thursday. If the appeal is unsuccessful, Walker will miss Saturday’s Premiership clash against Aberdeen at Pittodrie and the home match with Inverness seven days later.
