Man suspected of killing family members with machete captured in Hungary

A man suspected of killing four members of his family with a machete has been detained in Hungary.

Csanad Jutas Horvath, 24, is also suspected of injuring three other relatives during the attacks.

Police from Fejer County say Horvath is suspected of killing his father, brother and grandparents and of injuring his mother, sister and another relative today in the central town of Kulcs.

It is believed the killings are related to a family conflict.

Police said Horvath was found hiding in brushes not far from the scene of the crimes and did not resist the arrest. He was later taken to hospital because of injuries he is thought to have suffered during the murder spree.

Kulcs is located 42 miles south of Budapest, the Hungarian capital.
