Woman hurt in car collision

A WOMAN was rushed to hospital last night after being trapped in her vehicle in a two-car collision.

The 36-year-old was driving a Ford Fiesta on the A6093 Pencaitland Road, at Haddington, when it was involved in a collision at about 7.40pm.

She was taken to hospital with "non life-threatening injuries". The second woman, 21, was examined at the scene and did not require further treatment.
