Trafficking play's award

A THEATRE production about sex trafficking has won an award for the most outstanding play with a human rights message.

The Traverse Theatre's Roadkill, by Cora Bissett, has won the 2010 Amnesty International Freedom of Expression Award.

The show tells the story of a Ugandan girl forced into the Edinburgh sex trade,

Ms Bissett said: "I hope that Roadkill really underlines that sex trafficking is happening in our own neighbourhoods."
