The Royal Mile march is the only parade in which the entire battalion is taking part. The battalion is expected to start at Edinburgh Castle at 12pm before making its way down the Royal Mile.

The soldiers are expected to stop outside St Giles' Cathedral for a salute, before heading to Holyrood Palace to collect their campaign medals.
