Police seek witnesses in death probe

POLICE have appealed for more information as part of their inquiry into the death of an East Lothian man.

Dennis Parker died as a result of injuries sustained during an incident at his home in Eskside West, Musselburgh in the early hours of Saturday, 24 April.

A 35-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with Mr Parker's death, while two women aged 32 and 24 were also arrested for offences arising from the investigation.

Detectives are now keen to speak to members of the public who assisted a group attempting to push a red car in Campie Road around 1am on the same day.

DCI Willie Guild said: "We are eager to learn more about the circumstances that preceded and followed Mr Parker's death.

We are particularly keen to speak to the members of the public who assisted in pushing the small red car and would ask them to contact police."
