Pet ban for man who abandoned sick dog

A MAN who abandoned his cancer-stricken rottweiler was yesterday banned from keeping animals for six months.

Colin Clark, 35, of Wester Close, Edinburgh, left his pet dog, aged about ten, tethered to a post because he didn't know what to do with the sick animal, Edinburgh Sheriff Court heard.
