Zippos circus heading to Peterhead

Zippos Circus, Scotland’s favourite circus, is back with a nationwide travelling tour and will be heading to the Blue Toon.

Nomads features an international cast of talented circus performers guaranteed to entertain the whole family.

The Scottish tour kicks off in Glasgow and will be in Peterhead from July 6 to 10.

Headlining the show are the Temujin Troupe – special guests from the Mongolian Steppes. They perform hand voltige, skipping and aerial acts. Mongolia is one of the last places where a nomadic culture is the norm. Nearly half of the country's population lives this lifestyle.

The Nomads show also has acts returning by popular demand including the legendary motorbike Globe of Death from Brazil. There's also fast juggling, knife throwing and whip cracking from the Czech Republic, and fearless feats of daredevil aerial artistry from UK talent Jackie.

The international cast continues with a breathtakingly elegant performance on a vertical pole from Moroccan-born Ibrahim. Ludvick from the Czech Republic has a fantastic Rola Rola act, there's nail-biting Swinging Trapeze from Spain plus Ukrainian dancers Diana and Sophia.

UK comedy star Whimmie Walker will get everyone laughing, while audiences will adore the acrobatics, aerial acts and comedy of Brazilian artist Paulo Dos Santos.
