A FARMER convicted of child-grooming offences has been sentenced to eight months in prison, with a further 12 months on licence.
Richard Bennett, 32, of St Fergus, Peterhead, believed he was chatting online to a 14-year-old girl from Edinburgh, but it was a fake profile set up in 2009 by a covert internet investigator from a special police unit.
