What's their game?

The recent pledge signed by various countryside agencies to help conserve Scotland's birds of prey (your report, 26 June) is to be warmly welcomed. However, there was one obvious omission and that was Scotland's self-styled wildlife managers, the Scottish Gamekeepers Association. What conclusions can we draw from their refusal to sign?
