Unionist challenge
Mr Salmond and his excellent team have striven to keep the unemployment rate lower than in the rest of the UK and continue to attract inward investment – as in the potential 500 new jobs to be created by Swiss banking software company Avaloq.
So far Mr Salmond’s “raving” is having positive results, despite an ever-decreasing budget. If Mr Gray would like to see a return of “stability” to the “body politic in Scotland”, he should persuade the leaders (if there are any) of the unionist parties to take a break in Tierra del Fuego until they discover the meaning of decent, constructive opposition.
