The Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse – in the form of the RSPB, Friends of the Earth Scotland, WWF Scotland and Scotland World Development Movement – who are anti-every electrical generation system other than renewables (Letters, 17 March), will soon have their wish for "demand reduction" granted. This reduction will be in the form of extensive and prolonged blackouts.
