Letter: Small wonder

AM I the only one to have noticed that on the BBC News weather map, Scotland has again been miniaturised relative to the rest of the UK?

The BBC must have gone a long way (by my reckoning, into outer space above the Bay of Biscay) to get a camera angle that makes Scotland look so small. I have heard of tampering with history but, tampering with geography? No other TV channel does this. Why does the BBC persist in this?
