North Mexico drug war claims 10 more victims

Ten decapitated bodies have been found in the northern Mexican city of Torreon in the country's latest grisly mass murder as drug gangs fight over smuggling routes.

The bodies, seven men and three women were dumped in the back of a truck with their heads scattered across the city.

Authorities said the killers left a message directed at another gang.

National Security Spokesman Alejandro Poire attributed the beheadings to a battle between two drugs gangs, the Zetas and the Sinaloa cartel.
