New charity website gets star backing

CELEBRITIES including Scots singer Annie Lennox, and actors Dame Judi Dench and Ricky Tomlinson are backing a new website set up by a children's charity to give a simple way for people to support projects across the UK.

Action for Children launched my.actionforchildren.org.uk after a poll found many people were unsure about what to do.
