Mental health movies a hit

The curtain has closed on the Lothian Mental Health Arts and Film Festival.

Organisers, artists and partners today said they were delighted with the sell-out audiences, "great feedback and high quality" of arts events.

The festival aims to challenge attitudes toward mental health issues through the arts.

Sheena Lowrie, senior health promotions officer, mental health and wellbeing, NHS Lothian, said: "It's wonderful to see the festival continuing to grow in popularity year on year."
