Man found dead in city flat

Police were called after a 35-year-old man was found dead at a flat in New Mart Gardens, Saughton.

Officers said the death was not suspicious.

A neighbour said he had seen the man's body removed from the flat at around 6.30pm on Wednesday. He said: "I was going home and there were police standing outside. A private ambulance came out and a body was removed."

He said he believed that the victim was not the tenant.
