Leith update for musical

THE musical Blood Brothers is being given a "Leith makeover", with an updated version to show at this year's Leith Festival.

Moving Lights Theatre is modernising Willy Russell's 1983 Olivier Award-winning production, which follows the differing fates of twins separated at birth during a recession, with the hope that it can "draw comparisons with our present situation to that in the 80s".

The company is seeking children of varying experience aged ten to 17 to join the cast. For details e-mail [email protected].

Blood Brothers will be shown at The Yard on Bonnington Road Lane on June 16, 17 and 18.
