THE line-up for this year's Edinburgh International Film Festival is set to be released next month, organisers have confirmed.

This year's festival, the 65th to be held, is undergoing a revamp after artistic director Hannah McGill left in August.

Earlier this month, actress Tilda Swinton reportedly denied she ever agreed to help mastermind a rethink of the EIFF, despite being unveiled as a figurehead of the new-look event.

Swinton played down her involvement in the festival's overhaul, insisting she had merely sent "a few e-mails to friends" to help out.

The programme launch for this year's festival takes place on May 17, with the festival itself running from June 15-26.
