Electricity station theft warning

POLICE and power companies have warned of the dangers of stealing metal from electricity stations after an attempted theft from a substation in Edinburgh.

Fencing was cut from around the Newbridge Primary station and thieves tried to tamper with equipment to reach copper plating, but they were disturbed.
