Cow about this to boost economy?

MORE than £3.5 million in research funding has been announced to link science and business and strengthen economic recovery in Scotland.

Rural Affairs Secretary Richard Lochhead made the announcement as he opened a new research facility at the Scottish Agricultural College near Penicuik yesterday.

The GreenCow facility will help scientists identify the impacts of climate change on farming and determine how best to tackle them.
