Cork air crash accountant 'mad for learning'

A BUSINESSMAN killed in the Cork air crash was dedicated to his education and his work, his former teacher said yesterday.

Pat Cullinan, 45, from Co Tyrone, was a partner at accountancy firm KPMG and one of six who died in Thursday's crash. He studied economics at Omagh College of Further Education and had an honours degree from Queen's University Belfast. Former teacher Joe Byrne said: "He was mad for learning and was a conscientious student."
