A 25-YEAR-OLD man has been reported to police in connection with reports that a laser light was shone on the face of AC Milan goalkeeper Christian Abiati during Tuesday’s Champions League fixture with Celtic.

The alleged incident is said to have taken place in the 82nd minute of the match at Parkhead.

The matter was reportedly referred to police by a steward.

A Police Scotland spokesman said: “We can confirm that a 25-year-old is the subject of a report to the procurator fiscal in connection with allegedly shining a laser light onto the pitch at Celtic Park during the match.”
