Canny name for sandwich

OLIVIA Giles, who lost her hands and feet to meningitis, has named a sandwich at The Canny Man's in Morningside.

The ex-lawyer was joined by pub's owner Gloria Kerr and charity boss John Jellis.

Ms Giles, 44, recently won the right to name a sandwich at the 'Miles for Smiles' ball she organised in aid of her charity 500 miles, run by Mr Ellis. The charity helps disabled people in Malawi and Zambia access artificial limbs and surgery.

Ms Giles has named the salmon and prawn sandwich "Olivia's OneSmile", and 1 from each one sold in 2010 will be donated to 500 miles.
