Book praise for inventor

The man behind the creation of a bionic hand called i-Limb has featured in a book because of his pioneering work.

David Gow, who is head of south east mobility and rehabilitation technology services for NHS Lothian, was mentioned in the newly published Extraordinary You - Science in Healthcare.

He said: "It is flattering to be in the book and be recognised for my work. My career has exceeded my wildest dreams."
