Baby fights for life after home attack

AN INFANT is fighting for its life after an alleged attack at a home in the Highlands.

A 39-year-old man is to appear in court today in connection with an alleged assault on the baby at a house in the Tain area. Police were called in after the infant was admitted to Raigmore Hospital in Inverness on 23 February.
