Appeal to target 'real threats' to UK

A GROUP of 36 science professors, including Nobel Prize-winner Sir Harry Kroto, have called on the government to prioritise spending on research into tackling the "real threats" to the UK's security, such as climate change, by cutting investment in developing nuclear weapons.
