10-month-old boy dies after tragic accident

A 10-MONTH-OLD boy has died in a tragic accident at his home, police said yesterday.

Leland Symons was taken to hospital in Dundee after being found unwell on Monday afternoon.

Tayside Police said there were no suspicious circumstances.

A statement said: "Leland was found unwell at his home in Dundee's Forres Crescent at around 1pm on Monday.

"He was taken by ambulance to Ninewells Hospital where, tragically, he died.

"A post-mortem was carried out in Glasgow today and results confirm that his death is non-suspicious and is the result of a tragic accident."
