Steering Column: Mustang the runaway winner of world’s manliest car title – even in pink
The iconic US vehicle picked up 21 per cent of the public vote, with the Aston Martin DB7 second on 15 per cent and the Range Rover third on 13 per cent.
At the other end of the scale, the VW Beetle was named the least manly car, followed by the Mazda Miata MX5 and the Ford Ka.

The Mustang was first introduced to the US market in April 1964.
