Teenager arrested for '˜bomb hoax calls' to Ayrshire schools

A 16-YEAR-OLD has been arrested in connection with two alleged hoax bomb calls to schools in Ayrshire.

Police Scotland said the male youth has been detained in connection with the alleged incidents on 1 June, involving Cumnock Academy and Auchinleck Academy.

A report is to be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal and the youngster is expected to appear at Kilmarnock Sheriff Court today.
