New beer to mark Scotland’s celebration year
Miss Scotland, Jamey Bowers, was on hand in Edinburgh to raise a glass to what will be a year-long celebration with a commemorative craft beer developed by Inveralmond Brewery’s head brewer Ken Duncan in Perth.
The firm said yesterday that it had invested in more efficient production equipment and is looking to significantly increase capacity over the short-term.

Hide AdExport orders for Homecoming Scotland Beer have already been shipped to Italy and Sweden, and markets in Australia, New Zealand and the US have shown strong initial interest. Inveralmond employs 18 staff and its turnover hit £1.5 million last year.
Fergus Clark, its managing director, said: “Opportunities like Homecoming Scotland 2014 give home-grown Scottish companies genuine prominence on an international stage.”
