An Amsterdam-based provider of co-working facilities is targeting creative industry professionals in Glasgow with its latest opening.

Spaces, which already has outposts across the US and Australia, said the 29,223 square foot Bath Street site is due to launch in October, offering more than 80 seats, a cafe and space for private meetings.

Glasgow will be the company’s second facility in the UK, joining Mappin House in central London.

Co-founder Martijn Roordink said: “The site is a perfect fit for Glasgow. This is a world-class city – dynamic, culturally vibrant, and enterprising – and Bath Street is one of its liveliest locations.

“Spaces gives members the opportunity to work alongside and meet fellow professionals who believe in the power of a collaborative, community approach to ideas generation and business growth.”
