Sports Direct: no staff are suspects

Sports Direct yesterday stressed that none of its employees was under investigation by the Serious Fraud Office (SFO) as it detailed a £220 million refinancing deal.

In October the SFO completed an investigation into Sports Direct and rival JJB, bringing no charges but continuing the probe in relation to individuals. Sports Direct's finance deal has been made through a group of ten banks.
