Pinewood stake is jewel in the crown

JEWELLERY retailer Warren James yesterday said its stake in film studio owner Pinewood Shepperton had increased to almost 22 per cent.

The company has stressed it is not planning to make a bid for Pinewood, which is currently in the process of being taken over by property group Peel Holdings.

Peel plans to de-list Pinewood if it secures a 75 per cent majority of the shares.
