Relatives of Mary Shipman

Fay Hill, of Sydney in Australia, is trying to find relatives of a Mary Shipman who lived in Edinburgh.

Mary was a niece of Isabella Garden, who owned the Shore Inn in Macduff, and was with Isabella when she died. Fay says: "I'm trying to put Isabella's life on our family tree but have come to a standstill. I am a niece of Isabella's only surviving son, James, who emigrated to Australia in 1920-22 after serving in the First World War as a 51st Gordon Highlander."
