As ever, the app is released ahead of the game itself, offering Ultimate Team players the opportunity to get a head start on fellow gamers and traders.

Here’s everything you need to know about the release of the Fifa 21 web app.

When is the Fifa 21 Web App out?

The Fifa 21 web app and companion app will be out today (September 30), though no specific time for the release has yet been revealed.

How does the new Web App work?

No official changes have been announced about the new Web App, and it’s unlikely that any real changes will have been made from previous editions.

The app allows Ultimate Team players to delve into the transfer market, tweak tactical styles and customise their club’s look.

Players can also work through the latest squad building challenges, trading unwanted players for unique player cards. On top of that, they can claim rewards for their efforts in the Weekend League and Division Rivals game modes.

How to download

You can sign up to the web app on your regular internet browser here.

When can I play Fifa 21?

Fifa 21 is currently scheduled to release on Friday 9 October 2020.

It will be released for PC, PS4 and Xbox One, as well as next-gen consoles the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X.

Where is the cheapest place to pre-order it?

Fifa 21 is already available to pre-order for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC here.

These pre-orders are through EA directly, though, so expect them to be far from the cheapest price available.
