Wha’s hot like us Scots?

CelEbrity exhibition Hot Scots, at the Scottish National Portrait Gallery, features Scottish stars of television, film, music and food in 18 portraits with a distinctively populist feel.

Inverness actress Karen Gillan, famous for playing Amy Pond in Dr Who, is one of the first faces to meet visitors to the gallery.

The exhibition, on the left as you enter the main door of the gallery, also features actors David Tennant, James McAvoy, Robert Carlyle and Gerard Butler, writer Armando Iannucci, soul-pop singer Paolo Nutini, Michelin star chef Tom Kitchin and artist and playwright John Byrne.
