Theatre review: Just a Quick One

Falling giddily into the category of so-bad-it's-good, this cringeworthy sex comedy answers the question that never wanted asking: what would happen if you combined a brothel with a coffee shop?

Rating: **

Venue: Spotlites (Venue 278)

The framing of the action as part of a seedy Sin Cities-style reality TV series is neat and there’s a sweetness at the heart of the story, but the stream of increasingly forced, sub-Carry On innuendo and a sense of naffness succeed only in sucking life out of the room.
