Review: Pappy’s: Last Ever Show, Pleasance Courtyard

PAPPY’S are back at the Fringe for the seventh time, with their unique brand of anarchic
humour.* * * *

From the moment they stepped on stage however, it was clear this was no tired veteran Fringe crew here for one last pay day as their show title might suggest.

The trio produced an inventive, chaotic and riotously funny mix of short sketches, songs and audience interaction.

The theme of The Last Show provided a valuable narrative throughout as one sketch after another
skilfully took their audience on a journey through their world of bizarre characters and inventive setpieces.

If this does prove to be their farewell appearance then it should be on everyone’s must-see list.
